How to Choose a Website Design Company in Jaipur: 10 Questions to Ask
Jaipur has hundreds of web designers. These 10 simple questions help you tell a good website partner from a costly mistake — before you pay an advance.
We build the funnels, stores and CRMs we write about — this isn't outsourced content.

Short answer: the right website design company in Jaipur will put the domain and website in your name, build for mobile first, set up basic SEO and Google tools, give you a clear written quote, and still answer your calls after the site goes live. The 10 questions below help you check all of this before you pay an advance.
Jaipur has many website designers — from freelancers to large agencies. Most can make a site that looks good on day one. The difference shows later: when you need a change, when Google can’t find you, or when the person who built it stops answering. These are the questions we’d want every business owner to ask first.

Before you start: know what you need
Write down three things before you call anyone:
- What the website must do — get WhatsApp enquiries, take bookings, show a menu or catalogue, or sell online.
- Which pages you need — for example Home, About, one page per service, Gallery and Contact.
- Who will update it — you, your staff, or the company.
With this list, every company you speak to quotes for the same thing, so you can compare fairly.
10 questions to ask a website design company in Jaipur
1. Will the domain and website be in my name?
This is the most important question. The domain (yourbusiness.com or .in) should be registered in your name, with login details you can access. Ask who owns the design, the content and the code once you’ve paid. If the company leaves, you should be able to move the site without starting again.
2. Can I see websites you built that are live today?
Ask for links, not screenshots. Open them on your phone. Do they load quickly? Do the buttons and forms work? Are they still updated? A live site tells you far more than a design mock-up.
3. Will it work well on mobile phones?
Most of your customers will visit on a phone. Ask how they test on mobile, and how they keep pages fast. Google’s guide to Core Web Vitals explains the loading, response and stability measures it uses to judge page experience.
4. What SEO is included?
At a minimum: a unique title and description for each page, clear headings, a sitemap, fast images, and Google Search Console set up. Be careful with anyone who promises the first position on Google. Google’s own advice on hiring an SEO says no one can guarantee a number one ranking.
5. Will you set up my Google Business Profile and enquiry tools?
For local businesses, the Google Business Profile often brings more calls than the website itself. Ask if they will link the site to your profile, and add WhatsApp and call buttons, a contact form that really delivers, and Google Maps. Our Google Business Profile optimisation guide explains what a good profile needs.
6. Which platform will you use, and why?
WordPress, Shopify, a custom build or a website builder — each has a place. A good company explains its choice in plain words, based on what you need, not on what it always uses. If you sell online, compare options with our WordPress vs Shopify guide.
7. Can I update the website myself?
Ask for a short training session or a simple guide, so you can change prices, photos or timings without waiting. If the company will make all changes, ask how quickly they usually respond.
8. What does the quote include — and what costs extra?
Get a written quote that lists the pages, features, number of changes, hosting, domain, SSL, email and support. Ask what happens if you need one more page later. Comparing quotes is only fair when they cover the same work.
9. Who writes the content and supplies the photos?
Many projects get stuck waiting for text. Agree who writes each page, and whether it will be in English, Hindi or both. Use your own photos or properly licensed images — never pictures copied from another website.
10. What support do I get after launch?
Websites need updates, backups and security checks. Ask who looks after this, how you contact them (phone, WhatsApp, email) and what happens if the site goes down. A company that disappears after launch is the most common complaint we hear.
How to compare website design companies in Jaipur fairly
- Send the same requirement list to two or three companies.
- Compare what each quote includes, not only the total.
- Check live examples on your phone.
- Read their Google reviews and see how they reply to them.
- Notice how quickly and clearly they answer your questions — that is how support will feel later.
- Agree payment in stages linked to clear steps, such as design approval and launch.
After launch: what to check
- You have the domain, hosting and website logins.
- Every form, WhatsApp and call button works.
- The site opens fast on a phone.
- Google Search Console shows the site and the sitemap is submitted.
- Your Google Business Profile links to the website, and your name, address and phone number match everywhere — as Google’s Business Profile guidelines require accurate business information.
