GoHighLevel Pricing Explained: Which Plan Do You Actually Need?
GoHighLevel has three main plans, but the right one depends on how many businesses you run and whether you resell it. Here’s a plain-English breakdown so you don’t overpay.
We build the funnels, stores and CRMs we write about — this isn't outsourced content.

GoHighLevel pricing looks simple at first glance — three plans at three price points. But the plan names don’t tell you much about who each one is really for, and the monthly fee isn’t the whole bill. Pick too small and you hit limits; pick too big and you pay for features you’ll never use.
We set up GoHighLevel for businesses and agencies every week, and “which plan should I choose?” is usually the first question. This guide explains each plan in plain English, what costs extra, and how to decide.
GoHighLevel pricing at a glance
- Starter — $97 per month ($970 if paid yearly). 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts and users, all core features.
- Unlimited — $297 per month ($2,970 yearly). Everything in Starter, plus unlimited sub-accounts and the ability to rebill phone and email costs to clients at cost.
- Agency Pro — $497 per month ($4,970 yearly). Everything in Unlimited, plus SaaS mode, automatic sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, agent reporting and advanced API access.
Paying yearly works out to roughly two months free on each plan. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial and no long-term contract.
First, understand sub-accounts
The biggest difference between the plans is the number of sub-accounts. A sub-account is a complete, separate GoHighLevel workspace for one business or location — its own contacts, pipelines, calendars, funnels, phone numbers and automations.
- A single business with one location needs one sub-account.
- A business with a few locations or brands might use one per location.
- A marketing agency usually gives each client their own sub-account.
Once you know how many sub-accounts you need now — and in a year — the choice of plan becomes much clearer.
Starter ($97): for a single business
Starter is the right plan for most individual businesses: clinics, salons, gyms, coaches, consultants, real estate agents and local service companies. You get the full core toolkit — CRM, pipelines, funnels and websites, forms, calendars, email and SMS, workflows, reviews and more — for up to three businesses or locations.
Unlimited contacts and users means your bill doesn’t grow as your list or team grows, which is one of the main reasons businesses move to GoHighLevel from tools that charge per contact or per seat.
Unlimited ($297): for agencies and multi-location businesses
Unlimited removes the three sub-account cap. It suits marketing agencies managing several clients, franchises and multi-location businesses, and anyone who expects to go past three accounts soon. Agencies on this plan usually rely on GoHighLevel snapshots to copy a tested setup into each new client account.
It also lets you rebill phone and email usage to each client at cost, so clients pay for their own texts, calls and emails instead of you absorbing them.
Agency Pro ($497): for agencies selling software
Agency Pro is built for agencies that want to sell GoHighLevel as their own product. Its standout feature is SaaS mode: clients can sign up and pay a subscription on your website, and their sub-account is created automatically. You can also add a markup when rebilling phone, email and other usage.
If you just manage clients’ marketing for a monthly retainer, you probably don’t need Agency Pro. It earns its price when subscriptions and resold usage become a real revenue stream for your agency. We explain how it works in GoHighLevel SaaS mode for agencies.
What costs extra on every plan
The plan fee covers the software. Usage is charged separately, based on how much you send and use:
- Phone numbers and calls — monthly number fees plus per-minute call charges.
- SMS and MMS — charged per message segment.
- Email sending — charged based on volume.
- AI features — such as AI employees and conversation AI, on a usage basis.
- Messaging registration — for example, A2P 10DLC fees if you text US numbers.
- Optional add-ons — including a white-label branded mobile app.
For most single businesses, usage stays modest. But if you plan to send large text campaigns or run AI on every conversation, estimate this before you choose. Our GoHighLevel setup checklist covers phone and email setup so you don’t waste usage on messages that never arrive.
How to choose the right GoHighLevel plan
- One business, up to three locations or brands? Choose Starter.
- Managing more than three businesses, or growing an agency? Choose Unlimited.
- Want clients to sign up and pay for software on your website? Choose Agency Pro.
- Not sure yet? Start with the free trial on Starter and upgrade only when you hit a real limit.
Is GoHighLevel worth the price?
The honest answer: it depends on what it replaces and whether it gets set up properly. Many small businesses pay separately for a website builder, a scheduling tool, an email platform, a texting service, a form builder and a CRM. GoHighLevel can replace most of these in one account — so list what you pay for today and compare.
The software only pays off if it’s actually used. A clean setup — clear pipeline stages, instant replies to new leads, reminders and review requests — is what turns the monthly fee into booked customers. Automations like missed-call text-back often pay for the plan on their own by saving leads that would otherwise go to a competitor.
Common GoHighLevel pricing mistakes
- Buying Agency Pro “just in case” when you run a single business.
- Forgetting to budget for SMS, calls and email usage.
- Staying on Starter after passing three businesses and working around the limit.
- Paying for GoHighLevel while keeping all the old tools running too.
- Signing up, never finishing the setup, and deciding it “doesn’t work”.
